I just bought this little car made by the Custer Specialty Company that built unusual little motorized cars for the Amusement parks & those who could afford them at that time. They were also known as bumper cars for the amusement parks, Big difference in there use, they were not enclosed in doors but had a little larger area to drive them in. The Co. built two Custer for the Edsel Ford family, they are now in the Flint Michigan Ford Museum. Not very much history on these cars built in Dayton, Ohio. I believe mine is 1934 vintage because of the Model A Briggs engine which were built starting in 1933. The Co. also built a powered wheel chairs & a three wheel tiller steering car. I will be restoring this one. Tires are going to be very hard to replace being they are a air pneumatic & 18 X 4:00 size. Anyone out there that has these tires please send an email to dwb1@mchsi.com

By George
The By George scooter looks very similar to the Gest.
The By George motor bike appears to have a Simplex frame, or a close copy.
